Mount Tsolasar
Tsolasar is one of the central and most significant peaks in the southwestern branches of the Karkatar mountain range. Located in the northern part of Rind village, it stands at an elevation of 2,772 meters. Due to its geographical position, it serves as a unique mountain hub, connecting several prominent heights of the massif.
Tsolasar is surrounded by other notable peaks of the Karkatar range: to the southwest lies Mount Nare (2,602 m), to the southeast is Partam (2,631 m), and to the north rises the highest peak of the entire range, Karkatar (2,961 m). Routes starting from Tsolasar are considered among the finest mountaineering paths in the Vayots Dzor region.
